This Wednesday we will have a brand new bread on our shelves, Kugelhopf (pronounced "coo-guhl-hopff"), spelled with a G in some places. It is an Alsatian, light brioche style bread made with a yeasted dough and rum-soaked raisins, topped with whole almonds. It's baked in a large bundt pan and is known to be a term for marble cake or Bundt cake. Goes great with coffee.
