    Primary Objectives

    • Support all aspects of our catering and wholesale businesses under the direction of the CEO, prioritizing customer service above all else

    • Execute strategic plans for short and long-term growth and profitability

    • Drive operational excellence through product, people, and quality standards

    Main Responsibilities

    •  Serve Wholesale and Catering customers through management of the ordering process for both catering and wholesale end-to-end (e.g., intake of orders, invoice creation, coordination with the production team and front-of-house, back-of-house organization / delivery, and customer follow-up)

    •  Support management of financial performance to budgetary standards

    •  Ensure product quality, freshness and presentation always meets Rustica’s exceptional standards

    •  Regularly evaluate and implement process improvement opportunities

    •  Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with receiving policies and procedures     

    •  Monitor invoices and address any discrepancies

    •  Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with internal team and management.

    •  Continually evaluate the quality of the “experience” through first hand observation, feedback and interaction with customers

    •  Promote a positive perception of the company at all times both internally and externally

    •  Align all activities to the organization’s mission, core values, and brand promise

    •  Remain current with industry developments, competition and product both locally and nationally

     Job Requirements

    •  Minimum 3 years of sales and customer management experience within the gourmet food / café market

    •  Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing and motivating a team

    •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google Docs applications, QuickBooks, Square, and Squarespace

    •  Excellent written and verbal communication

    •  A positive and outgoing personality

    •  Passion for exceptional service

    •  Solution-oriented

    •  Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

    •  Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational need
