For the last five weeks we’ve highlighted five different bakers and the new products they created. We wanted to show love and appreciation to our fabulous team; whose creativity inspires new products for all of you. Over the past five weeks we raised $500, and will be donating $100 to each of the baker’s charity of choice. Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting our bakers and these charities. Meet Matt! Matt is a Production Director and has been at Rustica for 2.5 years. He is responsible for the planning and coordination of all things dessert, pastry and cookie. The “quality of the ingredients, the people I work with and the commitment to hands on baking has kept me at Rustica”. Recently Matt created our decadent flourless cookie, and is excited for the new dessert menu that will start May 1st!

This week is the last for our #5for5 celebration, and we’re highlighting Jamie’s Hummingbird Cake. Jamie has been baking professionally for three years, and created this cake with Spring and Easter in mind. Jamie recently visited Hawaii and chose the charity @projectaware for #5for5. A portion of Hummingbird Cake proceeds will be donated to this foundation this week!
